Our Story
We got tired of building someone else's dream.
Wanderlust Society was born from a simple frustration: two people who love this continent and this industry, spending years making other companies successful. We decided it was time to do it on our own terms — properly, honestly, and without cutting corners.
Co-Founder
Jessica
Twenty-five years in travel, and Jessica still gets the same rush booking a first safari that she did on day one. The last four of those years were spent immersed in luxury Africa itineraries at Unearth Experience — building relationships with camps, ground operators, and guides across the continent that simply can't be replicated from a brochure.
She's the one who knows which room to request at which camp, which routes actually work logistically, and which properties are all marketing and no substance. If you want the honest version of "is this trip actually worth it," she's who you ask.
Co-Founder
Ros
Ros holds a marketing degree and has spent years working inside the travel trade, which means she understands both sides of this business — how a trip is sold, and how it actually needs to be delivered to be worth talking about afterward.
She's the reason Wanderlust Society sounds like a real, considered brand rather than a template — and the one shaping how we tell the story of every journey we plan, from the first enquiry to the trip report you'll want to send your friends.
Why Wanderlust Society
Because trips like these deserve better than a template.
We've watched too many good trips get flattened into a generic package — the same three camps, the same rushed itinerary, the same copy-paste enthusiasm. Wanderlust Society exists to do the opposite: to slow down, ask the right questions, and build something that actually fits the people going. Combined, that's 25+ years of on-the-ground travel experience and a marketing background that knows how to tell your story properly — all pointed at one thing: Africa, done right.
Let's plan something worth talking about.
Tell us where you're dreaming of, and we'll take it from there.
